One of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament matches featured tonight was Dean Ambrose vs Kevin Owens for the right to move to the finals. That match will headline Survivor Series and be between the winner of Owens vs. Ambrose and Roman Reigns vs Alberto Del Rio.

Before the match started, Owens guaranteed he would face Roman Reigns, who beat Alberto Del Rio, in the finals of the Survivor Series tournament.

Owens got in one of his trademark moves in the cannonball for a near-fall on the Lunatic Fringe.

KO would get in full control and start gloating.

Triple H would be seen watching from backstage. Could he be scouting someone?

Owens has underrated athleticism and attempted a moonsault off the top rope. However, Ambrose would roll out of the way as Owens landed on the mat.

Owens would eventually recover with a knee to the gut off a fireman’s carry.

Ambrose would come back with a big dive through the ropes to take down KO and send things in his direction.

In the end, Ambrose would counter multiple Pop-Up Powerbombs and hit Dirty Deeds to secure the win. He will face Reigns in the finals of the Survivor Series tournament.

This was a very fun match, capping off a good semifinals for the opener of Survivor Series. Who will come out on top?
