Highlights and results from Roman Reigns vs Dean Ambrose at WWE Survivor Series
Roman Reigns defeated Alberto Del Rio in his semifinal match to open Survivor Series and Dean Ambrose defeated Kevin Owens in his semifinal match just after. Subsequently, the two former members of The Shield met in the final of the tournament to determine the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion in the main event.

This match started off hot with Reigns hitting a huge backdrop:

Ambrose tried to pop up and counter, but the power of Roman was too much. However, the fight then went to the outside and Dean was able to get an advantage by hitting a big clothesline and sending Reigns into the barricade. Back in the ring, Ambrose continued to keep Reigns down, hitting a huge missile dropkick:

He then started trying to wear Roman down with submissions and hard strikes. In the corner punching Reigns, though, Roman countered with a huge powerbomb that swung the momentum:

Ambrose tried to fight back shortly after, countering Reigns from the top rope with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb that didn’t fully connect:

Ambrose then perched on the top rope to try and deliver another heavy blow. Reigns caught him, though, landing a variation of a Superman Punch, but it was only good for a two-count:

Reigns and Ambrose then both tried to hit their finishers, but neither landed. Reigns caught Ambrose with a punch, but Dean countered with his rebound clothesline:

Roman got up and found found some running room, though, and caught Dean with a Spear. Even that wasn’t good enough for the pin.
After kicking out, Ambrose showed the heart to fight back and caught Reigns with a fast Dirty Deeds. Returning the favor, Reigns also kicked out.
After jockeying for control once both men came to, Reigns lined up Ambrose and hit him with a Spear. This one was indeed the final blow, with Ambrose staying down for three:

Reigns’ night wasn’t over, though, as Triple H then came down to the ring. The COO of the WWE walked into the ring clapping and raised Roman’s hand, then offering to shake his hand. Reigns was reluctant and then hit the Spear on Triple H:

Sheamus then appeared and hit Roman with the Brogue Kick. He cashed in his Money In The Bank Contract, the match begin, but Reigns kicked out at two:
Reigns then got up and dodged another Brogue Kick, then bouncing off the ropes to try and hit a Spear. Sheamus was waiting, though, and hit another huge Brogue Kick to win and take the championship off the newly crowned Reigns:
