Memphis Grizzlies vs Houston Rockets
It’s been a rough start to the season for the Houston Rockets. First, they began slower than expected, dipping multiple games under .500 and then they fired head coach Kevin McHale, leaving interim duties to J.B. Bickerstaff.

No one expected the Rockets to be 5-9 through, but after a 4-3 start to the year, this team has since lost six of seven and are looking like a mediocre squad, at best. Dwight Howard and Patrick Beverley have both been fighting through injuries, but they could be back in the lineup for Wednesday’s game. Houston isn’t the same team without those two. James Harden has a solid scoring average, but his shooting has been pitiful.
The Memphis Grizzlies haven’t been the most impressive team this season, either, despite having a very successful 2014-15 campaign. The Grizzlies are currently third in the Southwest Division with an 8-7 record, but they’re starting to heat up, winning five of six games.
Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph have combined for one of the most physically-imposing posts in the entire league, but neither has been dominant this season. Gasol leads the team in scoring, but is averaging just 6.6 rebounds per game. The Grizzlies need some more scorers to step up if they want to make another deep run this year.
