Panthers star cornerback Josh Norman was ready to troll Dez Bryant after dominating the Cowboys

The Carolina Panthers throttled the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day in game where Cam Newton and the Panthers defense thrived while Dallas looked completely inept and had Tony Romo leave with another injury to his left clavicle. After Carolina moved to 11-0 on the season, their star cornerback in Josh Norman was ready to troll Dez Bryant.

Norman, who was matched up with the Cowboys’ top receiver in Bryant for most of the afternoon and rendered him almost completely ineffective. In the locker room after the game with the media around, Norman looked at them and had the perfect comment to poke fun at both Bryant and Dallas:

That’s just cold-blooded on Norman’s part, but accurate after how the Panthers cornerback shut down Bryant on Thursday.

Bryant was targeted eight times in the matchup against the Panthers, but managed only two catches for 26 yards, largely due to the tight coverage Norman had on him all day. I’m not sure the Cowboys would ever regret locking up Bryant with a major contract, but he looked inferior to Norman on Thanksgiving.

As for contracts and money as they pertain to Norman, he will be an unrestricted free agent this summer and, with how he’s played all season, he is likely going to see huge dollar amounts thrown his way. Even if Dez didn’t deserve his $70 million deal on Thursday, Norman made it clear that he does indeed deserve a massive deal of his own.
