There are only four games for the late FanDuel tournament, so choose wisely!

There are only four games making up the lateĀ Friday slate this week. The day after Thanksgiving means that there are plenty of Friday options. Who are the best? Let’s go digging!

More from College Football Odds

Last week I only placed with one of my lineups. It was a tough week if you played Baker Mayfield or Jarrett Stidham, despite the wins for both of their teams. You never know when injuries are going to blow up your lineups. There isn’t much that you can do about that.

To finish in the money, you need to choose the best high priced players, and the best cheap options to let you afford some high priced players. I will give you some of each option at each position and let you choose from there.

Here are my FanDuel College Football Picks forĀ late November 27:

Next: Who Will Put Up Big Numbers At QB?

November 14, 2015; Stanford, CA, USA; Oregon Ducks quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. (3) celebrates after the game against the Stanford Cardinal at Stanford Stadium. The Ducks defeated the Cardinal 38-36. Mandatory Credit: Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Quarterback:

Best Bet:

Vernon Adams, Oregon ($8,900): Adams torched a USC pass defense last week that is still statistically better than Oregon State’s. I don’t think Adams will throw six touchdowns again, but I will bet that he is closer to six than two. Adams should have another great game against another subpar defense.

Honorable Mention:

Chris Johnson, Baylor ($6,600): Johnson was Baylor’s third string quarterback, but after Jarrett Stidham left at halftime against Oklahoma State, Johnson racked up three second half touchdowns to knock off undefeated Oklahoma State on the road. TCU’s defense has been a mess most of the season. They playedĀ an inspired game against Oklahoma even before they didn’t have to account for the pass in the second half. That said, Johnson is throwing to the best receiver in the country, and TCU is without theirs. Johnson should have a very nice day for his price tag.

Dark Horse:

Blake Frohnapfel, Massachusetts ($5,200): Frohnapfel has had a disappointing senior season, but Buffalo’s below average defense will allow him the chance to leave in style. He is a roll of the dice, but he might put up really good numbers for cheap. Then again, he might not. But in his final collegiate game, you know he is going to get every chance to turn some heads.

My pick: Adams

Next: Who Are The Best RB's?

Running Back:

Best Bets:

Royce Freeman, Oregon ($8,100): Oregon State has been gouged on the ground all year. The Beavers are allowing an average of 218 yards per game on the ground this season. Royce Freeman should have a huge day, even if he does exit the game after the third quarter and split carries before that. Freeman has topped 100 rushing yards in every game this year except for Michigan State and Utah. Those are both really good run defenses. He will have no problems here.

Zack Langer, Tulsa ($6,800): Langer is still splitting some carries with DeAngelo Brewer, but there will be plenty of opportunities to go around against Tulane’s 95th ranked rush defense. Langer scored two touchdowns on the ground last week in his return from injury. He shouldn’t have much of a problem doing that again today.

Honorable Mention:

Aaron Green, TCU ($7,400): Baylor is actually 50th in the country against the run, but Green ran for over 100 yards on Oklahoma’s solid run defense last week. With Trevone Boykin likely not at 100% yet, there is a good chance that TCU leans on the run game more once again this week. Green’s third straight 100 yard game seems likely.

Dontrell Hilliard, Tulane ($5,300): The Tulane backfield is still crowded, but Hilliard has seen the most carries in each of the last two games. Tulsa’s run defense leaves a lot to be desired, so Hilliard is a nice play against Tulsa even if he does still split carries.

Dark Horses:

Devin Chafin, Baylor ($4,900): There is a very good chance that Shock Linwood will not play or he will be severely limited if he does. That opens the door for Chafin to have a field day against a below average TCU run defense. Baylor wont abandon the pass, but they run more than you think they do. Chafin will be the best bargain of the day if Linwood sits.

Kani Benoit, Oregon ($4,500):Ā Benoit has seen touches as Freeman’s backup quite a lot recently, and he should see plenty in the Civil War once the game gets out of hand. He has the talent to put up some big numbers against a horrible defense.

My picks: Freeman and Chafin

Next: Can You Afford To Not Play Corey Coleman?

Sep 26, 2015; Waco, TX, USA; Baylor Bears wide receiver Corey Coleman (1) celebrates his touchdown against the Rice Owls during the second quarter at McLane Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Wide Receiver:

Best Bets:

Corey Coleman, Baylor ($8,400): It really doesn’t matter who is throwing him the ball. Coleman is still going to produce. He doesn’t have the rapport with the other quarterbacks like he did with Seth Russell, but working with Chris Johnson all week should really help both of them. TCU’s defense has been torched by some good passing teams (Texas Tech, Oklahoma State) this year. Baylor is at least good. Coleman could have a huge game here.

Keyarris Garrett, Tulsa ($6,900): Garrett has had a couple of huge games this year, but he has not been all that consistent due to the inconsistency of Dane Evans at quarterback. Tulsa is facing a poor Tulane defense and need a win to become bowl eligible. This is shaping up to be a good one for Garrett.

Honorable Mention:

KD Cannon, Baylor ($6,200): Oklahoma and Oklahoma State both decided that Corey Coleman was not going to beat them. This allowed Cannon to have huge games. He racked up 10 catches for 287 yards and two touchdowns against the state of Oklahoma. He could have another banner day if TCU tries to do the same thing. Even if they don’t, he will have a good enough day to warrant playing him.

Kolby Listenbee, TCU ($5,600): Listenbee’s performance was limited last week by TCU’s lack of consistency at quarterback with Trevone Boykin out. ItĀ sounds as though Boykin will play today. If he does, Listenbee is going to be worth far more than his price. He is the new number one in this offense.

Dark Horses:

Kavontae Turpin, TCU ($5,400): Turpin will see plenty of extra targets now that Josh Doctson is out. We all saw what Turpin was capable of when Listenbee missed time earlier this season. Turpin is a big play waiting to happen, and will see a lot more targets with Doctson out. He is a home run waiting to happen.

Dwayne Stanford, Oregon ($4,600): He is technically the third receiver on this team, but Stanford should see plenty of action once this game gets out of hand. He has been producing pretty well in three receiver sets. Stanford could see more snaps than any other Oregon receiver this week due to the impending blow out. That makes him an intriguing dice roll

My picks: Garrett, Listenbee, and Cannon

Next: Can You Save Money At TE?

Sep 26, 2015; Buffalo, NY, USA; Buffalo Bulls tight end Matt Weiser (89) runs the ball in for a touchdown after a catch during the first half against the Nevada Wolf Pack at University of Buffalo Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

Tight End:

Best Bet:

Matt Weiser, Buffalo ($3,500): Weiser has been one of the more consistent producers at tight end this year. He lacks a high ceiling, but you know what you will get from him. He has at least five FanDuel pointsĀ in each of his last nine games.

Honorable Mention:

Rodney Mills, Massachusetts ($3,200): Mills has slowed since a strong start, but a lot of that can be attributed to the struggles of quarterback Blake Frohnapfel. I expect Frohnapfel to step up in his final game, which should allow Mills to accumulate solid numbers.

Dark Horse:

Charles Jones, Tulane ($2,700): Jones has two touchdowns in his last three games. He is little more than a potential home run, so you should try to find the extra cash to get one of the top two options.

My pick: Wisler
