Named Oregon 33—Oregon became the 33rd state in 1859—The helmet features a yellow and green camouflage scheme with a flying duck on the forehead area of the helmet. The gloves feature the Oregon duck logo and the jersey is covered in green camouflage.
Oregon has gone with a more traditional approach to their uniform choices for the Civil War in the past. The team has gone with the same green and yellow look that they have used in their last two meetings with the Beavers of Oregon State.
This will be the first time since 2008 that the Ducks will enter the Civil War with more than two losses. After advancing to the National Championship in 2014, the Ducks have gone 8-3 including a 62-20 dispatching by Utah at home and a 45-38 overtime loss to Washington State at home this season.
Oregon State enters this game 2-9 and winless in conference play. After suffering a 35-7 loss at the hands of the Michigan Wolverines, The Beavers proceeded to go 1-9 and go winless in conference play. Oregon State hasn’t beaten the Ducks since 2008, and their chances don’t look very good this season either.
Oregon may be on the heels of a disappointing campaign compared to last year, but they still find themselves in position to get a win over rival Oregon state, and look good doing it.
