A look at the result on Saturday in the heavyweight battle between Wladimir Klitschko and Tyson Fury
Just one week ago the world of boxing was in complete excitement as Miguel Cotto and Canelo Alvarez battled one another in Las Vegas for the middleweight championship. Well, this was another exciting Saturday in boxing, as the world heavyweight championship was on the line as the ferocious, undefeated Tyson Fury tried to bring an end to the dominance of Wladimir Klitschko.
Well all is said and done now with this battle in Dusseldorf, Germany, and there is a new heavyweight champion in Tyson Fury.
Prior to this one getting underway in Germany, the crowd was treated to a performance from none other than Rod Stewart.

Through three rounds of this one, while the atmosphere in the building has been great thus far, this fight is doing nothing to show everyone that heavyweight boxing is on the rise. This is … not good.
Unofficial ringside judge @shotfighter26 calls #KlitschkoFury 2-1 in favor of @Tyson_Fury through three rounds.

Round 4
The excitement didn’t magically appear in Round 4 in this one, however, Klitschko did seem as if he got into a rhythm near the end there, which usually never ends well for the opponents. Still, nothing to get too excited over.

Round 5
Yet another round here that went to Fury, who obviously has come in with the right game plan against one of the most unstoppable fighters of this generation. You have to give him credit there. As Roy Jones pointed out on the broadcast, he’s working the jab to near perfection.

Round 6
Right now is where you might expect Klitschko to stop fooling around and up the game a little bit, but that didn’t happen. From here, it looked like that was another round easily to Fury. So, from here on out, everyone should be on the lookout for the knockout — from either man.
CompuBox stats through six rounds of #KlitschkoFury: @Klitschko 23/96 24% | @Tyson_Fury 31/162 19%

Round 8
You started to see a little more action from Klitschko in this round, which was something we all saw coming seeing as he’s really done nothing of relevance to this point showing that he wants to retain his title. He needs to start amping the game up and search for the knockout, or else this one is just about over.
Round 9
This was the round that everyone, as the two monsters started trading some punches with one another. Early in the round there was a right hand by the champ that was immediately followed up by a left hook from Fury.
There was actual fighting that broke out.

Round 10
The biggest takeaway from this round, as the fight draws to a close, really is the fact that Klitschko just seems as if he refuses to do nothing. He’s literally watching the heavyweight title leave his grasp.
Round 11
In Round 11, a point was taken away from Fury for a rabbit punch. Still, this one is Fury’s unless a knockout is coming.
