These week 12 scoring leaders got their fantasy football owners off to a good start to the week.

The NFL got this Sunday off to a strong start with nine games  starting at 1:00.  In those games, the Chiefs, Vikings, Colts, Chargers, Jets, and Raiders all picked up big wins.  Hopefully, your fantasy football team also is on its way to a big win with help from these week 12 scoring leaders from the nine 1:00 starts.

More from Fantasy Football

Some fantasy football owners had rough starts to their week posting key players to injury.  The main fantasy football injuries from the early games were Jeremy Hill, Allen Hurns, Tyler Eifert, Karlos Williams, and Rishard Matthews. While those players didn’t come through for their owners, the players on the list below stepped up and got their owners off to fast starts.

Adrian Peterson-RB-Minnesota Vikings: Peterson romped for 158 yards and a pair of touchdowns against the Falcons and added two catches for 29 yards. He had a throwback game while carrying the Minnesota offense to a solid W.

Ryan Fitzpatrick-QB-New York Jets: Fitzpatrick threw for four touchdowns against Miami totaling 277 yards and four touchdowns through the air and adding 22 yards on four carries which was enough to make him the best QB from the early games.

Philip Rivers-QB-San Diego Chargers: After a nightmarish performance last week, Rivers bounced back with 300 yards in San Diego’s road win in Jacksonville.  Rivers threw for four touchdowns just like Fitzpatrick, but he only managed nine yards rushing on his five carries.

Sammy Watkins-WR-Buffalo Bills: Watkins had a monster game as the Bills lost to the Chiefs in Kansas City.  He hauled in six of his ten targets for a huge 158 yards and collected his first multi-TD game this season with two touchdown catches.

Brandon Marshall-WR-New York Jets: Marshall had a pair of touchdown catches too and totaled 131 yards on his nine catches in the Jets’ big win over Miami.

Tyrod Taylor-QB-Buffalo Bills: Taylor had a good game in Buffalo’s loss throwing for three touchdowns and 291 yards and adding 46 yards on his five carries.  He did lose a fumble but avoided throwing any picks.

Derek Carr-QB-Oakland Raiders: Carr threw for three touchdowns as well as he led the Raiders to a back-and-forth win in Nashville.  Carr finished with 330 yards on 24/37 and added five yards on the ground as well.

Seth Roberts-WR-Oakland Raiders: Carr’s main target in the end zone this week wasn’t Amari Cooper or Michael Crabtree.  Instead two of Carr’s touchdowns went to Seth Roberts including the game-winning score.   Roberts caught six of the seven passes thrown his way and finished with 113 yards.

Jeremy Maclin-WR-Kansas City Chiefs: Maclin caught a touchdown in the Chiefs’ win over Buffalo hauling in nine passes for 160 yards and a touchdown.

Jarvis Landry-WR-Miami Dolphins: Landry leads the NFL so far in week 12 with 13 catches for 165 yards and a touchdown. In PPR leagues, Landry was a monster, and he still turned in a very nice point-total in standard scoring.

Spencer Ware-RB-Kansas City Chiefs: Ware filled in well for Charcandrick West (who was filling in for Jamaal Charles) and posted 114 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries and caught three passes for the total of just one yard.
