Here is the playoff picture in the NFC entering Week 13 of the 2015 NFL season.
The 12th week of the NFL season has come to a conclusion for the NFC after the Seattle Seahawks beat the Pittsburgh Steelers late Sunday afternoon.
That win moved the Seahawks into sixth place in the NFC, giving them a Wild Card berth if the season were to end today.
The 11-0 Carolina Panthers are the No. 1 seed after Week 12 and have a comfy two-game cushion over the second place Arizona Cardinals. At 9-2, the Cardinals hold the second seed in the NFC barely edging out the 8-3 Minnesota Vikings. The Panthers and Cardinals would get first-round byes, and the Panthers would get home-field advantage in the NFC Championship game if they reached it.
The Vikings would be the No. 3 seed as the NFC North Champions. The Washington Redskins, at 5-6, would get the fourth seed as the NFC East Champions. The New York Giants are also the 5-6 but the Redskins hold a tie breaker over the Giants based on win percentage in division games.
The Green Bay Packers at 7-4 would be the fifth seed, ahead of the Seahawks at 6-5. It is a tight race for the Wild Card spots behind the Seahawks and the playoff picture could be drastically different at the end of the season.
