The Oakland Raiders and Tennessee Titans faced off in a contest down in Nashville.
In terms of postseason potential, Sundayās game between the Oakland Raiders and Tennessee Titans down at Nissan Stadium in Nashville didnāt bring much to the table. However, if weāre talking young star power and a glimpse into the National Football Leagueās future, then the game delivered a full serving.
Oaklandās young duo of Derek Carr and Amari Cooper were back at it, with Cooper hauling in seven receptions for 115 yards, and Carr throwing for more than 300 yards and three touchdowns. It was all good enough to help the Raiders eke out a nice road victory.
As for the Titans, well, Marcus Mariota was unsteady all day. His completion percentage was nothing to write home about, but he did toss three touchdowns himself (albeit alongside two interceptions). Tennesseeās season-long theme of no rushing attack continued, as the Titans only mustered 44 yards on 18 carries.
