We are a couple weeks into the D-League season and there is still a wealth of talent playing in the NBA’s minor league. Only three players have been called up to date and the international leagues have not snagged any of the top talent yet either, so this list is booming with NBA caliber players.
Myself, Scott Rafferty and D-League Digest Editor Adam Johnson rank the top 15 players in the D-League each week and order them based on the average, giving you plenty to banter and bicker over!
We do not include any draft rights players, such as Dakari Johnson and Andrew Harrison, in these rankings because they can only be called up by their affiliate NBA club. We have three newcomers this week since Bryce Cotton — No. 1 in last week’s rankings — received a call up to Phoenix and DaJuan Summers is out for the season with a torn Achilles.
Keep a look out each Monday as these rankings will post back and forth between Upside & Motor and D-League Digest.
