1. The Wide Receivers

For as bad as the quarterback play had been in Jacksonville since the end of the David Garrard, the Jaguars have had sneaky-good wide receivers for some time. Though the days of Jimmy Smith and Keenan McCardell are long gone, the Jaguars have many terrific wideouts they can count on for years to come.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have asserted themselves in the passing game with the emerging talents of wide receivers Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson. Hurns is in his second year with the Jaguars after playing at the University of Miami. Robinson starred at Penn State before coming to Jacksonville in 2014.

Jacksonville also has another diamond in the rough in former USC wideout Marqise Lee who hasn’t clicked yet at the next level. However, his obvious talent for the Trojans could manifest at the professional level, assuming Lee gets his health under control.

Starting quarterback Blake Bortles has a strong arm and is willing to stretch the field vertically in the passing game. It’s a great way to score points in a hurry and Jacksonville is rarely out of a game because of their strong aerial attack. Give it a year or so, but Jacksonville might have the best wide receiving corps in football.
