Rob Gronkowski suffered a knee injury in New England’s loss to the Denver Broncos Sunday night.
On Sunday Night in Denver, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski had to leave the game on a medical cart after suffering a blow to his knee. The Patriots eventually suffered their first loss of the season in overtime in Week 12 to the Denver Broncos.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that while the Patriots will have their star tight end undergo more tests on his injured knee, it “doesn’t appear to be serious.”
More testing likely and further updates ahead, but one source just texted this on Gronk's leg injury: "Doesn't appear to be serious."

NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reports that Rob Gronkowski suffered “no structural damage” to his knee and should only miss a few games, if that.
The belief is #Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski suffered no structural damage in his knee. Tests coming today, but his time out should be minimal

This is good news for the New England Patriots who have dealt with so many injuries on the offensive side of the football. Running back Dion Lewis is out for the year. Wide receiver Julian Edelman won’t return until the AFC Playoffs. Wide receiver Danny Amendola isn’t healthy either and neither is the makeshift offensive line for the New England Patriots all year.
It seems like every year a playoff team is ultimately ruined by the injury bug before they can make their Super Bowl run. Last year, the Arizona Cardinals were that team. Though New England enters Week 13 at 10-1, the injuries are starting to pile up in Foxboro. The Patriots will need a healthy Rob Gronkowski if they want to repeat as Super Bowl Champions in 2015. Fortunately his knee injury isn’t a season-ending one.
