The Denver Broncos lead the AFC West division, but here are 5 reasons why they won’t win the division.

The Denver Broncos are currently 10-3, and despite a hiccup in Weeks 14 against the Oakland Raiders still hold a two-game lead in the AFC West. Without future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, the Broncos have been led by Brock Osweiler, and with him under center the team has, more often, looked stronger offensively.

Ever since Manning waltzed into Denver, the Broncos have never looked out of reach of an AFC West title. In fact, they have absolutely dominated the division in recent history. This season, so far, it’s been mostly the same old story. The Kansas City Chiefs, though starting 1-5, and are two games back and are charging hard.

Denver has not yet tied up the AFC West title yet. Although they lead the division, they are playing back towards the field. It is not inconceivable that the Broncos slip into second in the division, especially considering the run that Kansas City has been on of late. Here are 5 reasons why the Broncos could possibly lose out on their dominance over the AFC West.
