Cam Newton is checking out Stephen Curry light up the Hornets in a Dell Curry jersey.

It’s Stephen Curry’s homecoming in Charlotte tonight, with the Golden State Warriors in town to take on the Hornets, and everyone is coming out to see the native son and reigning MVP do his thing on the court. One of those in attendance to see Stephen Curry, might be a future MVP as well.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was in attendance on Wednesday night, to see one of the greats take the court. Not only was Cam showing support for Curry, who is a huge Panthers fan, but he was also wearing the jersey of Stephen Curry’s dad, Dell Curry, who is being honored by the Hornets tonight.

Newton was sported sitting in the front row along the court in a nice brand new Hornets jersey with the Curry name on the back.

Game always recognizes game and in Charlotte, it’s two of the most beloved people in the city in one building. Cam Newton has been at Hornets games before and loves the team and the city, but even he knows who is in the building to do damage tonight. It’s the newest king of the NBA, Stephen Curry.

He’s also there to pay tribute to Dell Curry, who had a tremendous career with the Hornets.
