Chuck Pagano’s Colts are an undefeated team…when 40-year-old backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is under center. The Irsays are growing tired of Pagano’s inability to deliver the Colts another Super Bowl, despite it only being Pagano’s fourth year as head coach and having to play an incomplete roster.

Should the Colts sputter in the AFC Playoffs or miss them all together, Indianapolis could fire Pagano and that would open up the best available gig in the NFL: having the shot at coaching Andrew Luck and lead the Indianapolis Colts to a Super Bowl Championship.

At 2012’s QB Camp, Gruden once schooled then Stanford superstar quarterback Luck about how important with Spider 2 Y Banana to throw the football to the fullback and no one else. Luck seemed to understand after reviewing a pick of his on that passing progression during the film session with Gruden.

Anyone who is a brilliant offensive mind, if given the opportunity, would love to coach the 26-year-old Andrew Luck. Being able to build around Luck in his prime is the best potential head coaching vacancy in about a decade. If Gruden wants to throw his name into the ring, he will at least get an interview for this supposed opening. Spider 2 Y Banana.
