Aaron Rodgers took the game into his own hands as he ran into the touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

The Green Bay Packers looked like the better team during their second half resurgence against the Detroit Lions. QB Aaron Rodgers cut the lead to three with a nifty run of his own after not seeing any of his teammates open in the end zone.

Rodgers shows why he is one of the most dangerous quarterbacks in the NFL. When his wide receivers aren’t open, he can race down field to extend the play. In this case he had an open lane for the touchdown to put the Packers within three before the extra point was taken and 3:04 left on the clock.

It’s been a rough season for the Packer and Rodgers, but Thursday’s game was one of their better games especially in the second half. Rodgers helped get the visitors back in the game and keep it close in the third quarter after being shutout in the first 30 minutes of action.

Rodgers looks to be back to his old self. He’s shown his lethal arm and his strong legs by finding the endzone with both weapons. If the Packers have any hope of making the playoffs or winning their division, it will be thanks to their leader under center.
