Aaron Rodgers wasted little time to score after the Packers defense forced a fumble moments earlier.

After struggling offensively in the first half, the Green Bay Packers scored 14 unanswered points in the third quarter. It was capped off by a nice pass from Aaron Rodgers to wide receiver Davante Adams to cut the team’s deficit to six against the Detroit Lions.

The Packers scored earlier in the quarter off a fumble turned touchdown. Then, the Packers forced their own fumble as they rushed Matthew Stafford for the sack.

A minute and 31 seconds later Rodgers connected with Adams for the team’s second touchdown of the game. The Lions had the momentum at the half and early in the third quarter, but Green Bay woke up and cut the deficit to six points. It was made easy for the Packers on offense due to the great defensive play. They only had to go 12 yards from the start to end of the drive.
