BAE Index, 12/3/15: Vintage Kobe Bryant
By Ian Levy
Welcome back to the BAE Index
Kobe Bryant gave us vintage Kobe
Get your popcorn ready cause Kobe went OFF against the Washington Wizards last night, scoring 31 points. We’ve all been waiting for that night where we would finally get to say “THIS IS VINTAGE KOBE BRYANT”, and it was really fun. Hopefully we’ll get one or two more of these before he hangs’em up at the end of the season.
Steph Curry beats the Charlotte Hornets on his own
Steph Curry is kind of insane, and it’s hard to continue being impressed at what he does on a pretty much nightly basis. Last night, what he did against the Charlotte Hornets was impressive. He dropped 28 points in the third quarter on the way to a 40 point night. At one point he scored 14 points in two minutes which doesn’t sound possible even though there’s video evidence of him actually doing it.
James Harden swats away Norris Cole
Harden obliterates Norris Cole’s attempt at this layup, because he’s tired of everybody saying he never plays a lick of defense. Poor Cole just wanted to make a simple layup, and join the luxurious club that is #TeamLayup, and instead he ended up in Harden’s highlight. Maybe next time, Cole.
Anthony Davis avenges Norris Cole
Anthony Davis saw his teammate get rejected, and knew he needed to avenge him, because Anthony Davis is a nice guy like that. Seeing his chance, Davis sprinted down the court and denied Trevor Ariza of his chance to join #TeamLauyup by swatting his layup attempt into the second row. You have been avenged Norris Cole. You may now sit on the bench in peace.
Paul George is really mean to DeAndre Jordan
Paul George is on a revenge tour against the entire NBA this season, because we all forgot how great he was when he missed almost all of last season. Now, he’s out there making poor DeAndre Jordan look silly with this nasty crossover. It’s not his fault, George! You don’t have to do this to him!
