Which NFL head coaches are on the hot seat?

This NFL season has been pretty nuts. There are arguably more mediocre and bad teams this season than in any previous campaign. That could lead to a very interesting and action-packed offseason as several head coaches could be fired soon after Week 17 concluded. Some of them might not even last that long.

When football teams are bad, it’s usually the head coach who suffers the blame for it. Even if it’s not his fault, head coaches are fully responsible for the performance of their team. Some of the coaches on this list haven’t been given a fair shake. Some of them have suffered things that are beyond their control. With so many bad teams and so many coaching changes likely coming, we could see a record for coaches fired.

Five NFL head coaches should be feeling the heat from their hot seat. While all of them won’t necessarily be fired, there’s definitely a possibility that all five could be fired and it’s very likely that at least two of them will have to update their resume or get trained for studio work.
