Russell Westbrook has huge dunk after steal (Video)

Russell Westbrook stole a ball from the Miami Heat and turned it into a huge fast break dunk.
The Oklahoma City Thunder came in strong to face the Miami Heat on Thursday night. They made sure their presence was known early in the first quarter, despite some calls not going exactly their way.
Early in the first quarter, Kevin Durant found himself having two fouls on his stat line and he had to go to the bench to ensure he wouldn’t be in any further foul trouble too early in the game. Russell Westbrook was trusted with the keys to the car, something he’s been used to the past two seasons as Durant has been out from time to time with injury.
Westbrook held his own in the first quarter, ending with 15 points to give the Thunder a 28-23 lead by the time the second quarter started.
He had one huge play that captures everything his first quarter was as the period came close to a close. Westbrook spotted a pass, jumped on it, and was able to steal it. It didn’t end there, though. Westbrook sped down the court with no one anywhere near catching up to him.
Westbrook really took flight, and was able to throw it down for a huge jam. His big first quarter kept the Thunder out of a hole early as the Heat were playing decently together as a team.
As the night goes on, he’ll be happy he has Durant to help him out, once his fouls are no longer an issue.
