BAE index 12/4/15: Thunderdunks
Kevin Durant: Still good
With the Warriors amazing season and Paul George’s quick return to form, Kevin Durant has gone a little under the radar this season. He’s had a ridiculously good start to the year, but it’s gone a little notice. Well, consider it noticed.
Russell Westbrook throws down the hammer in transition
Kevin has a teammate that is also pretty good at highlights. Especially when he is alone in transition.
You would think we’d all get desensitized to Russell Westbrook nasty transition dunks at some point, but, so far, they’re still wonderful to watch. How exactly did the Thunder lose this game?
Dwyane Wade follows vintage game with family celebration
Oh, right, because Dwyane Wade was awesome against them.
Wade poured in 28 points and was all of the clutch in a 97-95 win against OKC. It was another inspired performance by Wade, but his son was only mildly impressed.
Wade was amused by his son’s answer and gave him an awesome handshake as he made his way off the court.
This may be an old man moment for the elder Wade, but he looked anything but old while the game was going on Thursday night.
Hassan Whiteside ends everything
Whiteside has had some great highlights in his NBA career, but this might be the best one of all. Seriously.

Whiteside opens up his eager eyes for this pass from Wade and throws it down with one hand. It was astonishing to watch.
In case you haven’t noticed, despite some offensive struggles for both teams, there were plenty of highlights to go around in Miami. There were other games on the docket last night as well, but, with all the dunking and fatherly love, it was hard to take your eyes off the great game and ending at American Airlines Arena..
