Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New Orleans Pelicans

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers have been the best team in the Eastern Conference to start the 2015-16 season, standing in stark contrast to the start of Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans. However, two of the best players in the league will lead their teams into the Smoothie King Center on Friday night for a highly anticipated matchup.

Though LeBron and the Cavs have largely been rolling this season, Cleveland is coming off of a tough loss on Wednesday night. James, Kevin Love, and J.R. Smith will need to regroup after a poor showing if they want to get things back on track as they anticipate the return of Kyrie Irving. Davis and the Pelicans were pegged as a dark horse in the preseason, but have failed to live up to expectations thus far. They’ll need the likes of Tyreke Evans and Ryan Anderson to step up and aid Davis if they plan to take down Cleveland.
