Chris Bosh ignores LeBron James, says Kobe Bryant greatest of generation
By Josh Wilson
Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat recently ignored the presence of LeBron James, his former teammate, and said that Kobe Bryant was the greatest player of his generation.
Chris Bosh and LeBron James were once great teammates while they spent four years together on the Miami Heat. Their friendship didn’t ever appear to be too great, though, especially when compared to the special bond that LeBron shared with Dywane Wade. Bosh always seemed to be the man left out, on and off the court.
Recently on the Dan Patrick show, Bosh seemingly ignored the presence of LeBron and his impact on the game, calling Kobe Bryant the, “greatest of my generation.”
There’s no doubt Kobe is great, but many would say that LeBron is much better than Bryant. This could very well have been Bosh ignoring James’ presence yet again ever since he left Miami. One NBC article also points out that Bosh may have overlooked Tim Duncan, too.
Bryant has recently announced that he will retire at the end of this season, and although he was vocal in saying he didn’t want a farewell tour, it appears that that’s how it’s going to be. It started off in his hometown in Philadelphia, where he lost and gave the Philadelphia 76ers their first win of the season. His high school coach from Lower Merion high school was there to honor Kobe, and he will have many more ceremonies like this as he plays is final games in many cities around the country.
Is Kobe the greatest player of his generation? Maybe. If you ask Chris Bosh, definitely.
