Eagles QB Sam Bradford listed as probable against Patriots
It looks like the Philadelphia Eagles will have their quarterback back on Sunday.
At one point this season, it looked like the Philadelphia Eagles were turning the corner. Then, as fate would have it, after a big win on the road at the Dallas Cowboys, Sam Bradford would get hurt at home the very next week against the Miami Dolphins.
That’s really where things began to spiral out of control for Philadelphia, which has led many to believe that their head coach could soon be gone. With no end to the tail spin in sight, the Eagles tough sledding continues this weekend when they have to take on a New England Patriots team that is looking to bounce back in a very big way after their first loss of the season last week against the Denver Broncos.
The good news for the Eagles is that they won’t have to rely on Mark Sanchez anymore. According to the Eagles’ injury report, Sam Bradford is listed as probable for Sunday’s game and should be back in time to try and give the Eagles whatever help he can.
"The Eagles quarterback is listed as probable for Sunday’s game against the Patriots, meaning he should be good to go after missing the last two weeks with a left shoulder injury and a concussion."
Against the Patriots it might not be much, but it saves Mark Sanchez from having another embarrassing moment against the Patriots. It also doesn’t help that their defense is bad and continues to lose pieces either, so it probably will still be a very bad week in Philadelphia.
The good news is that for Bradford, he can finally getting back on the field. Having spent his whole career on the sidelines to date with injuries, he didn’t want to have to finish another one off on the sidelines again.
Still with how angry the Patriots are likely to be this week after a loss where they felt jobbed against the Broncos, he might be wishing he was on the sidelines.
