Winners: Arizona Diamondbacks

In a huge blockbuster deal like this, there is usually just one winner of the deal. For the Arizona Diamondbacks, they are the big winner on a lot of fronts. They finally have an ace that makes them a contender to compete in the National League.

With an offense that features Paul Goldschmidt and A.J. Pollock, the Diamondbacks are set to compete for a long time. Oh yeah, those guys also won Gold Gloves this season, and the Diamondbacks were named the Wilson Defensive Team of the Year.

Greinke will not only have a great offense, but he will also have a great defense right behind him ready to back him on up plays. By securing the services of Greinke, the Diamondbacks have also made it incredibly tough on every single team in their division.

The Dodgers have to find a way to pick up another pitcher to match his production alongside Clayton Kershaw. The Giants still need another top starter to pair with Madison Bumgarner. The San Diego Padres and the Colorado Rockies will have to hope their young talent can step up.

This is an absolute power move by the Tony LaRussa regime. The Diamondbacks are out to prove they are for real. They are the big winners in the Greinke deal, that goes really without saying.
