LeBron James will sit against Miami Heat on Saturday

LeBron James will not play against his former team, the Miami Heat.
LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers will not play Saturday night against the Miami Heat, according to head coach David Blatt. This follows a game just the night before against the New Orleans Pelicans where the Cavs lost in a heartbreaker.
LeBron was in usual form in the fourth quarter, leading the Cavs back from a seven point deficit. Most of the plays late in the fourth quarter were isolation plays for LeBron, and the only true purpose to having any other Cavs player on the floor was to keep LeBron from getting teamed up on.
It was clear James pushed his body to the limits, scoring near-20 points in the fourth quarter alone, and 37 points altogether by the time the night was over. This was James’ sixth game this season with over 30 points this season.
Blatt is adamant that this has nothing to do with physicality issues and LeBron, but with such an exhausting game just the night before, one has to think that it’s possible that it’s the reason for James sitting.
Blatt says that he did consider keeping LeBron in the lineup since it was against his former team, according to Ethan Skolnick. James spent four years with the Heat, and went to the Finals in all four seasons.
It’s always an incredible game when the Cavs play the Heat for that reason, and sitting him for the game definitely won’t leave fans happy that bought tickets for that reason.
