With plenty of top names being signed, what pitchers are still available during this MLB offseason?

Since the month of Dec. hit, the MLB hot stove has been in full swing. Trades have been completed, players have been signed and the rumors have swirled.

The deal that stunned everyone was the signing of star pitcher Zack Greinke. Many expected him to return to the Los Angeles Dodgers for a ton of money. However, the Arizona Diamondbacks shocked the league by agreeing to terms with him on a six-year, $206 million contract. Acquiring someone of Greinke’s caliber for their rotation makes the Diamondbacks the early offseason winners.

We also saw mega money shelled out by the Boston Red Sox to starting pitcher David Price. He is receiving $217 million over seven years. The total money is a record for a pitcher.

After those two big names, we saw Jeff Samardzija go off the market to the San Francisco Giants for $90 million earlier today. The Detroit Tigers also opened up MLB free agency with a bang by signing Jordan Zimmerman to a deal over $100 million.

Pitchers are continuing to get a ton of money from teams this offseason. However, these crazy deals may not be over yet, as there’s still very good arms left on the market.

With this in mind, let’s take a look at the seven best pitchers remaining in the MLB free agency market.
