Pittsburgh Steelers Can Dispel The Normal

Beware of the Pittsburgh Steelers if they can get one of those AFC wildcard spots.

With injuries hitting the Patriots, a potential quarterback controversy brewing in Denver and Cincinnati possibly playing like Cincinnati, the Steelers could get in the dance a take the crown as one of the AFC datk horses.

Pittsburgh do not need to be playing at home to present a problem for the field. They have Big Ben Roethlisberger and his two Super Bowl rings. Coach Mike Tomlin has a ring as well and the offense could be frightening. Covering Antonio Brown, Martavius Bryant, and Markus Wheaton is no easy feat. Also, you cannot force the Steelers to run the football. DeAngelo Williams is having a strong year pinching in for the injured Le’Veon Bell.

How far they can go will hinge on their overall health and defense. Roethlisberger must avoid any more injuries for Pittsburgh to have a chance. He is vital to what the team is looking to do. His average of 335 passing yards a game is an indication of how potent the offense can be.

Their firepower keeps them in any game. Does defense always win championships? Do not tell that to a unit that ranks in the bottom third of just about every defensive statistic.
