Bengals at Browns: Full highlights and final score
The Cincinnati Bengals wiped the floor with the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
Did anyone even consider maybe, perhaps, possibly giving the Browns a chance against the Bengals on Sunday? No? No. Okay.
At what point do Bengals fans just stop going to games? Yeah yeah yeah, I get that they’re a loyal bunch and they have to prove their fealty after getting a team back in 1999, but good God this is painful. The team drafts poorly, and every season looks like a version of Groundhog Day. Quarterback plays. Quarterback sucks or is benched. Next one comes in, rinse-wash-repeat. Blech. At least they have the Muni Lot.
Let the trolling begin.
Highlights
Three Stars
1. AJ Green
Green continues to prove that he’s one of, if not THE top wide receiver in the National Football League. This week’s line: 5 rec, 128 yards, 1 TD
2. Andy Dalton
He came, he saw, he efficiently picked apart the Browns. A line of 14/19, 220 yards, 2 TDs and no interceptions doesn’t light the world on fire, but it’s damn efficient.
3. Reggie Nelson
Reggie Nelson was quite the stat-stuffer for the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday – 5 tackles (5 solo), 1 tackle for a loss, 1 interception.
Odds
Cincinnati was favored by 7.5 and covered three times over.
Next Week
The Bengals will have a battle for, essentially, the division next week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, while the Browns look to see if they can beat the San Francisco 49ers.
