DeAndre Hopkins pulls in a contested 19-yard touchdown.
The Houston Texans fell behind early, but have clawed their way back against the Buffalo Bills. Trailing by eight points in the fourth quarter, the Texans took the field at their own 29-yard line. Seven plays and 71 yards later they were ready to go for a two-point conversion to tie things up.
The drive took only 3:27 and ended on a somewhat controversial 18-yard touchdown catch by stellar wide out DeAndre Hopkins, who hauled in his 10th on the season.
There was a slight push by Hopkins as he prepared to leap for the ball, which drew the ire of not only the Bills fans in attendance, but the game’s commentators as well. It was the tenth touchdown caught on the season by Hopkins, as for quarterback Brian Hoyer, he has 18 touchdown passes this year now after hitting three against Buffalo.
After the play the Texans were down by two, which led to their decision to go for a two-point conversion. Running back Jonathan Grimes too it right up the middle and tied things up for the Texans, who are looking for their fifth straight win.
Hopkins has 88 yards on five receptions and also has traded great touchdown catches with his former teammate at Clemson, Sammy Watkins, who has 109 yards and a touchdown himself.
