Jeremy Maclin gives Kansas City Chiefs lead on TD (Video)

Jeremy Maclin’s thirteen-yard reception and second touchdown on the day put the Kansas City Chiefs back on top over the Oakland Raiders.
The Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs have been battling back in the game that was much closer than people expected. Off a Chief interception the offense didn’t take long to find the end zone and retake the lead. Alex Smith connected with Jeremy Maclin for the 13-yard passing play.
Maclin is having a good year in Kansas City. Up until this point the wide receiver had two touchdowns on the day. The first one was considered a run from one yard out, while the second was successful passing play that gave the Chiefs the 26-20 lead.
If the Chiefs hold on to win this game, it will be because of Maclin’s production on the day and 19 second-half points with 12 of those coming in the fourth quarter. In contrast they only scored seven points in the first half, while the Raiders earned 14.
The passing duo of Smith and Maclin has been deadly this year. If the Andy Reid’s squad ends up making the playoffs despite many frustrating results this season, it will be because of Smith’s and Maclin’s leadership that produces scoring plays like Sunday’s second half touchdowns.
