The New York Giants and New York Jets squared off in a classic game at MetLife Stadium.

20. 31. 23. 30. Final

The New York Jets and New York Giants clashed in a battle for the Big Apple on Sunday. It was a thrilling game at MetLife Stadium, each team duking it out and pulling out the stops.

Ultimately, the game needed extra time and the Jets and Giants game went to overtime. On the opening drive a bad third-down pass in the end zone forced the Jets to settle for a field goal instead of a game-winning touchdown.

The Giants faced a fourth-and-seven situation with the game on the line and Odell Beckham Jr. caught a big pass to extend the drive. The Giants couldn’t get the touchdown and went for a 48-yard field goal to extend the game but the kick sailed just left to end the game.

Three stars

  1. Odell Beckham Jr, WR, Giants – Spectacular catches, huge touchdowns, 100+ yards receiving… par for the course for Beckham.
  2. Dwayne Harris, WR, Giants – Harris had a huge 80-yard punt return for a touchdown.
  3. Brandon Marshall, WR, Jets – The Jets had a big day out of Marshall, who caught 12 passes for 131 yards and a touchdown.
