Marcus Mariota scores 87 touchdown run (Video)

Marcus Mariota scored an 87-yard touchdown run for the Tennessee Titans against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In one of the most exciting games of the week, Tennessee Titans quarterback, Marcus Mariota, has just absolutely burned the Jacksonville Jaguars defense to score an 87-yard touchdown run. The game has been a roller coaster with both teams sharing the lead at various points throughout the match. However, with the result still in the balance, Mariota shows why the Titans took him with the second overall pick of the draft.

While Blake Bortles has progressed in his second year in pro football, Mariota has blown people away in his rookie year. Much of the build up to the draft centered around the comparisons between Mariota and Jameis Winston. Both have looked good in their first years in the NFL, and now Mariota has just shown the world why he is so highly rated by Tennessee.

On his own 13 yard line, Mariota steps up and scrambles free. With nothing but green grass in front of him, the pride of Hawai put the burners on and showed the much feared speed that has been previosuly talked about. Mariota burned the Jaguars’ secondary, picking up a couple of blocks, and walked into the end zone for the touchdown. Wow!
