Mike Tolbert scored for the Carolina Panthers and busted out The Carlton dance to celebrate

The undefeated Carolina Panthers fell behind the New Orleans Saints early in the first half of their Week 13 matchup inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, but the Panthers haven’t been a team that just lies down this season. Subsequently, they started to claw their way back, beginning with a nice play from running back Mike Tolbert.

The boulder of a man in Tolbert rumbled his way into the end zone for the Panthers’ first points of the day and to pull them within one score of the Saints. To celebrate, though, Tolbert busted out the most classic move in the history of mankind—The Carlton dance:

It’s obviously just done for the Vine, but the addition of Tom Jones just makes Tolbert hitting the dance made famous by Alfonso Ribeiro is just the best touch. That being said, seeing a man of Tolbert’s size doing the goofiest dance in the history of television and the world was always going to be an instant classic.

Tolbert’s quarterback in Cam Newton is often criticized for his dabbing and dancing when he celebrates, but I doubt that the veteran running back will hear the same complaints. There’s no possible way you can get mad at a man for hitting The Carlton.
