11. team. 16.
Games like the one on Sunday against the Houston Texans are both the best and the worst of scenarios for the Buffalo Bills and their fans.

On the high side, the team looked really, really solid. Tyrod Taylor’s numbers weren’t mind-blowing by any means, but he was extremely efficient. He didn’t turn the ball over, made plays when needed and utilized safety net Sammy Watkins (not a bad nickname, really: Safety Net). LeSean McCoy also rumbled for over 100 yards and helped keep the vaunted Texans’ defense honest.

On the other side of thig, it has to be somewhat deflating knowing that if this team wasn’t beset by injuries throughout the season, it could’ve been that much better. Just think about how much time McCoy has spent on the sidelines (dude’s been dinged up since training camp) and the same goes for Safety Net.

Bills fans might not want to look back, and really why even bother because the future is bright.

This is Rex Ryan’s modus operandi: take a stout defense, wrap an efficient, opportunistic offense around it and then give everybody hell. Whether or not they make the postseason this year, it’s undeniable that the Bills are a pill to take on. And they could have some serious postseason power, as the next three weeks are against teams in the tightly packed NFC East.
. (6-6). Previous: . buffalo bills
