Seahawks at Vikings: Full highlights and final score
The Seattle Seahawks beat the Minnesota Vikings in epic fashion.
On Sunday afternoon, the Seattle Seahawks went to TCF Bank Stadium as favorites and showcased why by smashing the Minnesota Vikings, 38-7. Seattle was leading 21-0 at halftime and coasted the rest of the way, only allowing a kick return by Cordarrelle Patterson to turn into points.
Minnesota could get absolutely nothing rolling the entire day. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater threw for 118 yards on 28 attempts with no touchdowns and an interception. Adrian Peterson did nothing, gaining just 18 yards on eight carries. Seattle improved to 7-5 while Minnesota dropped to 8-4 and in second place of the NFC North.
Highlights
Three Stars
1. Russell Wilson
Wilson was terrific behind very good protection from his offensive line, something he has not been afforded most of the season. Wilson completed 21-of-27 passes for 274 yards and three touchdowns and no interceptions. Wilson continues to show why he’s been so valuable to the two-time defending NFC champs.
2. Thomas Rawls
Rawls is filling for an injured Marshawn Lynch, and he continued to look fantastic against the Vikings. Rawls did have a fumble in the first quarter but bounced back to rush for 101 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.
3. Doug Baldwin
Baldwin will need to step up this season with tight end Jimmy Graham now out for the season with a torn Patellar tendon. On Sunday, Baldwin stepped up and then some with five catches and 94 yards to go with two touchdowns.
Odds
Seattle was favored by 2.5 points and covered the spread without issue.
Next Week
The Seahawks will visit the Baltimore Ravens while the Vikings take on the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night.
