Texans at Bills: Full highlights and final score
The Houston Texans lost to the Buffalo Bills in a tight one.
The Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans took their games down to the relative wire on Sunday and it was pretty dern enjoyable. The first half was back-and-forth, third quarter was a shutout and fourth was a little blip of scoring.
Brian Hoyer slung the ball all around, and had himself a pretty solid game. Meanwhile, the running game was quite a mixed bag.
Buffalo was steady and efficient, and showed glimpses of what the team could’ve been capable of had it been healthy all year.
Highlights
Three Stars
1. Tyrod Taylor
When he’s cooking, the Bills are tough to beat. Case in point, Taylor’s stellar line from Sunday’s game – 11/21, 211 yards, 3 TDs, and no picks. Taylor also ran for 28 yards. He was efficient and, more importantly, held onto the dang ball.
2. LeSean McCoy
It’s easy to forget how good Shady McCoy is when healthy. On Sunday he ran for 112 yards on 21 carries. It’s a decent ypg (5.3), but more important: it kept the defense honest.
3. JJ Watt
It doesn’t even matter that his team lost, JJ Watt is a king among men. Did you see him playing catch with fans before the game? Guys want to be him, girls want him. He’s an American treasure and we should all kiss his beautifully blessed feet in amazement. Final stats: 4 tackles (2 solo), 1 tackle for loss, infinite smiles delivered.
Odds
Buffalo was favored by 3 and covered.
