The Philadelphia 76ers aren’t even good enough to keep their fans conscious during games

The Philadelphia 76ers have been the epitome of ineptitude to start the 2015-16 NBA season (and in the past few years as well). Through their first 21 games, the Sixers had won just one game. However, things reached an all-time low on Monday night as they faced the San Antonio Spurs as they couldn’t even managed to keep their fans awake.

The Spurs were absolutely trouncing the 76ers when, by no fault of the team themselves, one fan couldn’t stay awake to watch the onslaught anymore:

Honestly, you can’t blame this fan at all for not wanting to be awake for what was happening in the Wells Fargo Center. The Spurs were up 65-29 at halftime (yes, the Sixers scored only 29 points in a half) and were trailing 96-52 going into the fourth quarter.

That’s bad enough, but if you’re thinking “but the Spurs are really good,” that was only half true on Monday night. San Antonio was laying this beating on Philly without Tim Duncan or Kawhi Leonard.

Sleep on, sleeping Sixers fan. Hopefully your dreams include a basketball team that isn’t a living, breathing dumpster fire of sadness and false hope.
