Dez Bryant provided a lonely highlight with a diving catch against the Redskins

The Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins may have a storied rivalry facing one another, but there was nothing storied about their Week 13 Monday Night Football matchup. The two teams struggled for offense in just about every facet of the game as quality football was scarce. However, Dez Bryant delivered a little bit of highlight to the contest late in the fourth quarter.

With the Cowboys trailing 9-6 in the final period, Matt Cassel improbably threw a deep ball down the left sideline as Bryant got on his horse and blew past the Washington coverage. Bryant then made a fantastic play to lay out for the ball and somehow come up with a beautiful catch:

That’s just another day at the office for Bryant, if of course Cassel ever decides to feed him the ball. Dez is without question one of the most talented players at his position in the entire league and he can make mediocre quarterback play look slightly above average.

However, that was it for the highlights on that drive, even with Bryant’s catch putting Dallas deep in the red zone. They kicked yet another field goal to tie the game up late in the action. Such is life in this horrid matchup.
