One goth fan in Australia, threw the absolute worst half-court shot ever.

Just when it seems like we have seen the worst half-court shot in history, a new one always seems to come along and put all the previous terrible attempts at winning some money to shame. The latest addition to the hall of terrible half-court shots, comes courtesy of a game down in Australia, where one terrifying goth chick had a chance to win some cash. At the Cairns Taipans’ game in Australia, this young follower of the great Jack Skellington had a chance to win $250,000.

There’s also a high probability that she had never shot a basketball prior to her attempt at winning some cash. Well she doesn’t win any cash, but she also doesn’t throw the basketball past two feet. No, seriously, she doesn’t shoot the ball past the length of her arms.

As she prepares to shoot, she dribbles the ball so hard that the ball is bouncing over her head. As she runs up to shoot the shot, she does some sort of baseball crow hop and picks up the ball clearly past the half-court line and shoots the basketball about a foot or two past her arms.

If that horrible shot wasn’t terrifying enough, just check out that mascot. If that’s not one of the most terrifying mascots ever, then what is? Ahh yes, the old New Orleans Pelicans one, but that thing did everyone a favor and went to mascot heaven.
