Should the Indianapolis Colts fire Chuck Pagano, these are the 10 head coaches that they should look at to replace him.

The Indianapolis Colts may very well make the playoffs in 2015, thanks in part to a mediocre AFC South, but that doesn’t mean that they will be content with making the playoffs, especially when they are coming off a season where they were one game away from the Super Bowl.

If change does indeed come for the Colts, then that could mean in both the front office and with the head coach, as both haven’t done their best job this season.

The team fired their offensive coordinator already this season, but if they don’t finish strong and miss the playoffs or get bounced right away, it wouldn’t be surprising to see head coach Chuck Pagano be relieved of his duties as the team’s coach.

It actually almost feels inevitable at this point. While the Colts have had some strong seasons, they have never really been able to surround quarterback Andrew Luck with the talent that he needs to succeed. That’s more on the front office, but Pagano’s coaching hasn’t been the best either.

Jim Irsay, the team’s owner, doesn’t put up with losing, and there has already been rumors of him looking at other potential coaching options. It’s clear that should the Colts bring in a new coach, they’re going to want a coach that is on the same page with Andrew Luck, who can make the young quarterback succeed, much like Bruce Arians did when he was the interim coach of the Colts.

When that change is finally made, the big question will be, who do the Colts turn to? Well, these are the 10 candidates they should look at as potential replacement options for Chuck Pagano.
