James White-RB-New England Patriots (26.5%)

White is in a more potent offense and one that is desperate for weapons in New England, and he has shown he can be a solid option as a receiver out of the backfield.

White’s production has gone up and down the last three weeks, but he is pretty clearly the Pats’ top option to fill in for Dion Lewis as a pass-catching receiver.  On Sunday, he finished with ten catches for 115 yards and a touchdown while rushing for just four yards on his two carries.  White had his original breakout back in week 11 when he scored a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown the first week after Dion Lewis went down.

White’s production will likely fluctuate in the coming weeks especially as the Patriots get weapons back.  However, he’s definitely worth adding especially in PPR leagues, and I think he’s a top-30 back even in standard leagues the rest of the way.

The Patriots schedule takes them to Texas this week to take on the Texans  before matchups with the Titans, Jets, and Dolphins to close out the year.
