24. Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota is certainly on the rise. In the second year of the Mike Zimmer era, the Vikings are sitting at 8-4 and tied for first place in the NFC North with the Green Bay Packers. Yet, there are some issues that need to be addressed with this roster. Most of the holes are on the defense, especially after the brass went hard after defensive talent in last year’s draft, using the first two picks on Trae Waynes and Eric Kendricks. In addition, the Vikings have made heavy investments in past years, including Xavier Rhodes and Sherrif Floyd.

This time around, general manager Rick Spielman has to take a swing at adding an offensive weapon on the outside for Teddy Bridgewater. Minnesota has not had solid receivers since the days of Cris Carter, Randy Moss and Jake Reed. Doctson is an elite talent who could give Bridgewater a consistent target to grow with over the next decade. Any team that wants to compete for a title can’t be wasting time with Mike Wallace as its top target. Wallace is nothing more than a burner who can run a go route. Doctson provided a real weapon and opens up space for Adrian Peterson.
