3. Miami Marlins

The Marlins are currently set at third baseman since they have a reliable contact hitter in veteran Martin Prado, but they would be wise to look forward to the future since he only has one year remaining on his contract. Prado is 32 years old, so the Marlins will more than likely let him walk in free agency. Prado is entering the second year of his two-year contract, and the Marlins only have Derek Dietrich to back up Prado. Dietrich showed great power potential with 10 home runs in 250 at-bats, but the Marlins are surely considering a power option to pair with outfielder Giancarlo Stanton.

Stanton is the only batter on the Marlins that pitchers would regularly consider intentionally walking. A trade for Frazier would make National League pitchers shake in their boots since they would have no choice but to pitch to whichever batter comes first in the lineup. While the Marlins have a promising outfield, youngsters Christian Yelich and Marcell Ozuna still have yet to realize their full potential. If they can improve while Frazier comes to Miami, the Marlins would possess one of the most dangerous lineups in baseball. This may be difficult for the Marlins to pull off though since they may be concentrating more on looking for starting pitching help.
