LeSean McCoy still angry with Chip Kelly

It doesn’t look like LeSean McCoy wants to be friends with Chip Kelly any time soon.

Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy still holds plenty of resentment against Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly. His bitter feelings may come to an ugly head this weekend since the Bills are set to face the Eagles in Philadelphia. McCoy caught wind of Kelly wanting to shake his hand, and he immediately told his old coach to cram it.

McCoy was traded to the Bills during the offseason in exchange for linebacker Kiko Alonso, and the Eagles subsequently signed DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews in free agency. This was sure to spark resentment in McCoy, but the running back has also been critical of his coach for other reasons. The Pro Bowl running back implied that Kelly might be racist when he said he got rid of “all the black players.”

ESPN First Take Stephen A. Smith also made similar comments when he said that Kelly makes decisions that “leave a few brothers feeling uncomfortable.” McCoy being traded and wide receiver DeSean Jackson being released were the main reasons why McCoy and Kelly made these sorts of comments. Unfortunately for Kelly, his mind-blowing decisions have not produced results throughout the 2015 season.

The Eagles currently hold a 5-7 record after entering the season with Super Bowl expectations, but their NFC East title hopes remain alive after a colossal upset win over the New England Patriots. McCoy has performed well throughout the season for his new team, as he has rushed for 792 yards and three touchdowns despite missing two games.
