If Aaron Rodgers’ Hail Mary with no time left falls incomplete like it would have 99 percent of the time, we are talking about how the Lions are really playing nice football. Ultimately, results are all that matter and Detroit has fallen completely out of the playoff picture. The Lions need to find a running game in the offseason, along with a reliable offensive line and some playmakers on defense. Right now, there simply aren’t enough good players.</p> <p>It will be very interesting to see how the Lions respond for the rest of the season, because the Miracle in Motown was the type of defeat that can snatch away lesser teams’ souls. After a terrible start, the Lions had gained some momentum with their earlier win against the Packers in Green Bay.
