Dallas Cowboys. 27. team. 123.
Dallas may have won on the scoreboard, but the Cowboys are the perfect study in how important quarterbacks are on the National Football League. Dallas was 3-1 with Tony Romo under center and considering how bad the NFC East, it might have had the division locked up already if not for Romo’s two broken clavicles.

The Cowboys should be in the playoffs come January, perhaps even with a BYE week. Instead, they are somehow only a game out of first place in the division but certainly not looking like a postseason contender at 4-8. It has been a rough year for the team that signed and supports Greg Hardy. Karma?

Dallas actually has hope to win the NFC East but that will likely be dashed this weekend. The Cowboys have to go on the road to take on the Green Bay Packers, meaning that Matt Cassel has to outplay Aaron Rodgers in his own building. There is a better chance of Jared Goff or Connor Cook doing that than Cassel, who has been miserable to say the least so far this season.
. (4-8). Previous:
