The Buccaneers and Rams will clash on Thursday Night Football — blinding all who dare to watch.

The NFL thought it would be a cute idea to do a Color Rush every Thursday night in the back half of the season because — well, I have no earthly idea. In theory, this gives everyone the opportunity to sell more uniforms and gives an added edge to the struggling Thursday Night Football idea.

But really, all we’ve been doing is losing — no matter — and we’re putting our hands up in disgust once again as we’re being subjected to gross uniforms that ruin football. It’s bad enough that the Thursday Night game features the Buccaneers and Rams, but to add to the visual torture that we’re going to be subjected to, the NFL has forced ketchup and mustard jerseys on the world in one final stroke of cruelty.

I mean…

First of all, unless you already knew the Rams were the team the Buccaneers were playing, good luck figuring out who the hell is on the right hand of that graphic. There are D-III college polo teams with better uniforms than whatever that is.

The NFL can’t be blamed for trying to spice up the dull Thursday Night schedule. But they tricked us into thinking the Jaguars-Titans showdown was going to be the worst thing that we had ever seen, until these showed up.

At least Jameis Winston is sort of interesting to watch, but good luck not having a stroke while trying to watch the Ketchup and Mustard Bowl this Thursday Night.
