Los Angeles Clippers vs Chicago Bulls
With the No. 3 through No. 6 spots in the Western Conference basically interchangeable, the Los Angeles Clippers, sitting at 12-9 and 10.0 games out of the first-place Golden State Warriors, are still vying for position.
Los Angeles is still the best team in L.A. and winning five of six shows that the Clippers are still fighting to be one of the top teams in the league. Blake Griffin is having an MVP-type season, averaging a team-high 24.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game. Rounding out the ‘big three’ are Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan, making the starting lineup as good as any.
Despite Derrick Rose ailing with seemingly a new injury every other week, the Chicago Bulls have still proven to be one of the top three teams in the Eastern Conference. Jimmy Butler has overtaken the role of star player on the team as he’s averaging 20.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.
This is one of those games that has the potential to be a preview for the NBA Finals, but there’s still a lot of basketball that needs to be played before that can even be a possibility.
Chicago is 7-3 at home and the Clippers are just 3-4 on the road so the odds are already favoring the Bulls in this one.
